From Crystal We spent the last year in Matt Walker’s studio, the 8-Track Shack, recording my debut album. With Matt at the helm, as mentor and producer, the soon-to-be-released CD features guest performances by Conway Savage (Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds) and Rui Pereira (The Drones). Matt says the goal of the production was to ‘get our art on’. Adding vibes, clarinet, mandolin, piano, tambura, strings and samples to the mix, he’s managed to capture a unique and layered sound.
