John writes ... I was looking around for a producer and I found Matt after hearing his production work on Liz Stringer's Album Pendulum. I already loved what he did as a songwriter and guitarist and I listened to the rest of his production work and I had a good gut feeling about working with him.
Matt was really easy to work
with right from the start. He created a comfortable environment and was
able to bring out the best in the band and capture the energy of our live
sound. He slotted himself in with the vibe of the band rather than try to
steer us in a particular direction and he was able to add his own
beautiful touches that were empathic to our sound. I'm very excited about
how Young Minds came together and it wouldn't sound the way it does if we
didn't have Matt working with us.
